Who we are

From the youngest to the oldest, all are welcome at St Michael’s and we listen to all points of view.

We try to respond to the needs of our community by supporting those who are struggling, providing companionship and working with our schools and the elderly and seeking to improve our environment.

Our worship is “middle of the road” with a wide range of music from traditional to modern and reflective.  The ancient Parish church in Church Lane provides the setting for formal Communion services but also for reflections such as Pause for Thought while our newly refurbished St Michael’s Community Centre on the High street allows more informal worship such as Celtic Worship and Praise services.
