St Saviour's
As the Rector of the Fromeside Benefice, it’s lovely to welcome you all into the ‘Benefice Family’. Whilst at the moment we are working to bring you as a Parish into our Benefice Structures and also into the Mission Area, it will not be until a little later in the year that the Benefice becomes a legal entity and I will formerly become your Rector. In the meantime, we are striving to appoint an Associate Minister with Pastoral and Missional Responsibility for St Saviours which we are hopeful will happen not long after Easter with a starting date at some point in the Summer or the early Autumn. So, what will the New Benefice of the Fromeside look like and what will be its impacts on all of you. We will be a Benefice of some 21,000 people with five churches (St Saviours, St Peters, St Michaels, St James and All Saint’s). This community of Church families, along with our emerging ‘Messy Church’ project based at St Saviours Hall, will all work together in being ‘Christian Community, Serving Community’ within the Fromeside area and we will strive to be; open to all through our journeying in Faith, our living in Hope and our acting in Love.
