OPEN COMMUNITIES JOURNEYING IN FAITH, LIVING IN HOPE AND ACTING IN LOVE

Church Life at All Saints

The Choir

All Saints' has a small choir that leads Sunday Worship. The church would love to expand the choir and would welcome new members. If you have any interest in singing or music and would like to join the choir please express your interest to the Churchwarden.

The Gardening Team

You don't have to be an expert gardener to join the All Saints' Gardening Team. It is an excellent and cheap way to keep fit. There is no joining fee and it is very satisfying work. The churchyards and Trust Burial ground take lots of taming but there are many rewards. Abundant wild life, the satisfaCaring for God's Acre Logoction of reclaiming land, huge bonfires and the gratitude of parishioners who appreciate the work you do. To join the team turn up in the churchyard any Tuesday morning at 10.00am, you will be made very welcome.

Come on a Tuesday and join us in church for a cookie and a hot drink!

Parish Giving Scheme

All Saints' has joined the Diocesan PARISH GIVING SCHEME to administer weekly giving supporting the church. Donations can be gift aided and this increases the value to the church. Please contact the Church Treasurer details of the scheme. Regular giving helps the church to budget effectively.

The Treasurer will be  delighted to discuss with you any giving (whether regular or one-off).

on Friday 4th October - £110.00 was raised for Christian Aid.

                                        Thank you for your support.

All Saint's Church participates in the 'Together 4 Fromeside Churches' Christian Aid Week initiatives.

The Children's Society

All Saints' has been a regular supporter of the Children's Society.  Some of our Christmas Church Collections, together with donations from the Christingle Candle Boxes, help to support children through the work of the Society.

All Saints' also supports the Children's Society House Box scheme. If you would like to have a House Box please contact Jenny Wellman ( 01454 778849). House Boxes are one of the most effective fund raisers for the society raising approximately £2million each year.  Our recent box opening on 9th October 2024 raised £214.27 for the Children's Society.

Winterbourne and Frome Valley Environmental Group

in Association with All Saints' Church

The Winterbourne and Frome Valley Environmental Group runs a monthly

Share and Repair Cafe in association with All Saints' Church.

Contact Laura Fogg-Rogers   Email winterbourneenvironmental@gmail.com

The underlying values for this café and workshop are to maintain or swap

items which are broken or no longer needed - just like the BBC's Repair Shop!

We aim to reduce the amount of waste going into landfill, reuse goods by

finding new homes for them, and repair our possessions to give them

a new lease of life.
